Kolmarg Eyesight Foundation held its final program for the year, a cataract surgery camp, on the 1st of December, 2022 at Ash Shakirun Clinic in Dilimi, Jos. Screening began on the 28th of November with 550 patients seen.
Treatment was provided for patients with glaucoma, allergic conjunctivitis, and other common eye conditions, and reading glasses dispensed to those with presbyopia. 69 patients had eye surgery, 61 of these were for cataracts. All the services were provided free of charge by the foundation and Ash Shakirun Clinic. The surgeries were sponsored by Advantrix Designs Company Ltd and friends.
